The lighting design concept:
The lighting design of Khalfan villa is based on three scenarios:
First scenario: This scenario is defined with the approach of tranquility at night and considering the least amount of lighting pollution when people are staying at home. In this part, the emphasis is on the lighting of the entrances and upper sides of the building.
Second scenario: This section is about the time that people do not stay at home or it would be at the beginning of the night. In this approach, the main feature of the building which is the patterns of the facades are lighting and clear during the night and other parts of the building are not showing by lights.
Third scenario: when there is a party and the residents want to show the building with the highest level of lighting, they can combine the first and second scenarios by turning on the whole system of lighting. In this situation, all the features and parts of the building are clear.
By designing three kinds of lighting systems, the residents and audiences are free to choose the most appropriate vision of lighting which they prefer and in somehow creating varieties intelligently. The varieties which are based on the principles and rules of lighting design.
